Holga Toy Camera

Holga is a toy camera which takes 120mm films (6X6). Very limited control (with a fixed shutter speed and aperture), hence the only factor you could add in is - Creativity.

Pop in a ISO 160 Agfa film and wait for the right moment.

It works very well under the sun. No focusing or whatsoever, you just "guesstimate" the distance and shoot with a steady hand.
As it's a toy camera, Holga has a plastic lens attached to it. It doesn't give you the sharpness as in Nikon, nor the details as in Leica. Nevertheless, the picture that Holga captures, gives you a feel of "being there".
Holga has a fixed shutter speed at approximate* 1/125sec, and also a "B" for bulb. In door photos, I have to ask Ean Seng to freeze the smile for 2 secs so that I can get a "reasonable" picture. Although it's not as clear/sharp as I want, the mood is there.

*Approximate I put because there is no quality control on toys camera.
All in all, it takes a 120mm film, which has a larger surface area to capture the necessary details that you need. This photo taken from 8th floor where Ean Seng with a small blue bag going to school.
